A Cross I made out of scrap steel and copper. The mounts symbolize Jesus’s wounds. I like the copper patina, it reminds me of a bright sky.. Perhaps the hope of grace? The shape of the copper outline reminds me of clouds.
I gave this as a gift to Pastor and Dee Glander at Holy Trinity Lutheran NA for a Lenten offering Feb-2013 after I found out they collect Crucifixes. I am happy to have something included in their collection.
