I’m so creative.. nahht.

[boasting ahead, I cant help myself}

I have been getting books from the library, and H reads them all each night (usually two at a time) and takes two comprehention tests each day, and has been getting 100% scores on both! (three times now) Today she tells me “the books you are getting from the library are too simple daddy”.

Please, Lord, let my children keep their interest in learning!

We are back from Charleston area. The weather was great. Here is a pic of H out and about.

So were M and R. Here they are out for a “drive”… Well, the were on the driveway.

I’m pretty sure K’s dad was a member of this car club when he was younger.. I guess I’ll have to ask him to tell me about it, for genealogy sake.

On a closing note, here is a link worth clicking on. Human Clock If ya’ gotta know what time it is, this is as good and as accurate as any. Thanks to Cori for the lead.

We are visiting with K’s P’s this weekend. I brought a refridgerator and am going to leave with a Freezer. Bob has been working on the sportster, getting it ready for Daytona this year. (early March) I don’t think he will be riding today. 🙂

HannaH and Diana, The best readers in the class. According to H, Diana can do no wrong. “She’s so perfect, she never even gets hole punches” (a punishment for not following directions or listening)

All I know is that I hope they stick together for a few grades.

Here is a fun picture… R, typing up his memoirs. Actually, H was playing with the typewriter, and walked away for a moment.. R learns fast! He obviously watched his sister operate it, because as soon as she left, he hopped up there, and he knew just what to do when he got there!

[parental boasting –>]

H was the first in her class to get 5 points (the recommended amount for the year) on the accelerated reading program. If she gets to 16 points by the end of the year, she qualifies to win a bike.

You are probably going to see a couple posts arrive all at the same time.. I’m having a problem FTP’ing files to my server… Sorry.

Its been cold here lately. H saw the icicles outside on the tree and wanted to go out and play.. But not for long! (long exposure at dusk, that is why H is blurry)

I think M had a better idea…. !

Hey, cool bike in the cell phone picture frame… I wonder who sent it! It’s eother from Indiana, or Charlston, SC…
