H’s school had their carnival this weekend. It was fun, if not a bit smaller than usual, because of the new school that opened up this year. (Last year, H’s school had almost 1000 students, this year it is closer to 700)
Here is the cotton candy stand! It’s always a hit. Someday it will have a companion sno-kone stand to go with it. Click HERE for a QuickTime movie of all the kids in the bouncer.(2.5Mb)

It seems I’m always posting wholesome pictures of my wonderful family… Well, its not always so wonderful, of course.

Here is a picture of R crying because he is being punished for throwing something after being told not to.

And here are R and M with their friend Hannah vegetating in front of the teevee.

I am about to add some pics on the garden page.

That’s not red toenail polish on R.. That’s, ahh.. He dropped something BIG and MANly on his toes, and.. ahh.. Didn’t cry a bit because he is a MANly MAN’s little boy… Oh, OK.. Verna asked if the girls got to his toes.. Technically the answer is no.. Because did it himself.
Is this one of those posts he will not be happy about in 10 years? (smile)

We went out for a walk this last weekend. On the way, we stopped at a playground. They get to play, I get to read the paper. Not a bad deal.

Here we are on somewhere in the middle of our walk.

Here is R playing pinball. He is just able to get his arms around it. Sorta funny.

Here is Arthur over for some chili. We had a nice visit.

Here is R helping me in the garage while I was smithing something up.

Here are R and M looking at the goldfish in the pond. They are getting more active.. Spring must be close!

Here is M and R playing in a mud puddle… How M did not get any mud on that dress, I don’t know.. But there wasn’t a drop on it.
