OK. Gotta tell you about this one.

I’m posting this from a table at taco bell in little ol’ N Augusta, SC. while I am eating lunch. (Im having a double decker taco, and a 7 layer burrito, if your curious) click to see the Map of where I’m at here (FYI, my house is at the “h” in “sunset hights”, just to the left of the star on the map.)

They have a free 802.11b (WiFi) internet access point here. (Its unsecure too!) I dont know about you, but I think that is pretty cool. Too bad I dont have the email function active yet on my (company provided, I wouldnt spend the extra bucks) cell phone camera… Otherwise I’d have a picture of me sitting here for you too..

Technology… ain’t it grand?

Im still going to counsul my children not to get into it for a living..:)

Well, I learned that my Church has a new web page… So we have an addition to the links on the right side of this page.

It is HolyTrinityNASC.org (the “NASC” stands for North Augusta South Carolina)

I am going to Email Pastor Glander right now and tell him to look at the page to see the video snippet of his storytelling.

Other than that- the masters is over, and all went well. no major failures malfunctions of screwups. So I’m satisfied. Hannah is back at school today, and all is right with the world.

Happy Easter!

He is Risen indeed!

Well, Easter is busy when you have Children. Lots of pictures to share with you tonight.

We will start off with Rockwell, coming at ya’

And of course we had our Church Easter Egg hunt, (the third one of the season) In Aurthurs back yard, it’s really an adventure, because you have to cover a lot of ground to find the eggs. As a matter of fact, it took the older kids about a half hour to find the gold egg… they almost gave up!!

As luck would have it, Hannah won the award for most eggs found… She found 15 of them.

Then Pastor Jim told the story of Jesus being crucified -and rising from the dead… As told by an old sheppard.. (I like the Palestinian head scarf.. I wonder if he knows that that is probably what it is. I will ask him tomorrow.)

You can click on this picture and get a video snippet of the story (1.1Mb)

And finally… Here is the stand were were talking about last month… I’m going to either paint, of have painted, a circus scene on the center panel with a sign saying “HANMELROC CIRCUS”… What do you think? good idea? not?
I liked it 🙂

And finally, here is Kathi and Hannah working on some crafts. I like this picture because you can see the field in the background… Its so old timy parking out in the field and sitting on a blanket to eat lunch… I gotta remember to do it more often. This whole Easter party was really low maintanance. No commercialisim, the eggs were not filled with candy, rather they got a little goody bag at the end, just hotdogs, chips, and sweet tea for lunch, and home made Ice cream and cotton candy for after lunch dessert. Is that cool or what??

Here is Hannah in her classroom at school. Such a good little student. She got her Report Card This week.. She was proficient in everything, and the comment section said she was “perfect”. [parental boast mode] I knew that already [/parental boast mode]

Here is the first Easter Egg hunt of the season. It’s at Hannah’s School, during School Hours on friday. I’m not positive, but I suspect the open celebration and discussion of Easter at a public school is a southern thing. Let me know if I am wrong. The boy in front is Pierce. Of all the kids in Hannah’s class, he is my favorite. No special reason, He just seem to have a good personality (That and he looks like a little adult.. its sorta funny… Guess you gotta be here)

And here is the second of a few Easter egg hunts the kids are going on this year…. This is at the park at Kathis parents house this weekend… Not very many kids showed up, so everyone had more than their fill of easter candy….

Here is a blast from the past… Hannah’s first motorcycle ride. Some time in 2001, I think. Hopefully, if you click on the picture, it should be a link to a quicktime movie of it.(~1Mb)

And, of course, we dont want to leave Melinda out…

Here we are this past weekend, testing the operation of the “motorcycle” before we allow the test driver (Melinda) to get on.

And here we decided to have Melinda test the operation of said vehicle. If my laugh sounds a bit shrill, its because I had a few beers in me by this time..:)
