WooHOO! Hanmelroc have a new cousin. Welcome EVIA MICHELE VANDERCAR (pronounced ee-va) for the continuing story, see Verna’s website.

We just came back from a week in Folly Beach, SC. It was a bit rainy, but it was stereotypical beach. With all the activities like clamming and such. We even visited Fort Sumter, the site of the beginning of the civil war in Charleston harbor.

Cousins on the beach.

I think it is mandatory that you fly a kite when you vacation on the beach.

Cousins, part 2- Lars from Switzerland (for his story, visit swisstales.com )

Aww, another closeup of Lars. How cute can a kid be?

Deep frying a turkey.. Hey, we DO live in the south, ya’ know… And we are proud of it!

Ready for the patriotic parade and picnic at church.

M had the sweet ride, in my opinion. How many times can one be asked “where did you get that tricycle”?

OK, I had to get into the act. So sue me…

H and her patriotic bike.

And to finish it off, R comes up the back. I have to say, we were the most patriotic!
