Melinda said she wanted to build a sailboat.. she even wrote down the “plans” on how to do it. Here is the final boat.. lust like her plans! (I wish I had a scanner, I would show you that this actually matched her drawing.) I think it was great! Dont miss the compass.. every boat needs a compass!
Im not sure the vintage of this picture, but I figured it was post worthy. Kids and dirt; they attract each other.
Rockwell rode to School for the first time! This was last Wednesday.
OK, I’ll fess up. I painted this in the middle of the night before the Tour de Georgia rode through town last Wednesday. But I did it with watered down drywall mud.. sorta like chalk. At least thats what I was going to tell the cops if they caught me! (I checked, it washes right off)
Rockwell, quarrying the playground, while the other kids wait in line for their turn. such organization!
Rockwell had a “Fudge day” where Friends, uncles, dads, and grandpas get to do field games with the kids. We had fun. Here is the group picture afterwards.
THis weekend was the “North Augusta Yellow Jasmine festival”. They Close down Georgia Avenue ( the street we live on) and there is all sorts of activities and whatnot. Here is the lions club picture of “a future North Augusta Lion”. I thought this progression of pictures was great!

OK, you might remember this from last year too, but the Jasmine festival ends with a big fireworks show… that essentially, for all practical purposes, is held in our front yard! 🙂
