Aquaduct Park in Augusta
So, we kept hearing about “aquaduct park” and how it was almost a impromptu landfill in the 80’s, and some people got together and cleaned it up.
It is a honest to goodness “swimming hole”. We had never been, and decided to check it out. We will certainly be back!
Wow. Another amazing thing, within a bicycle ride from our house. This place is cool! Interestingly, its walking distance from down town Augusta, but I don’t think people really know what is there. Its almost like you walk onto 1920 when you go there.

I got a Nannyrama.. The aqua-duct is on the left.. It goes under the Augusta canal.
