OK, I have held out long enough.. And no one has gotten the quiz…(Thanks to those who replied! Someone DID figure out that it was her “mirror image” twin, but no name..)

H and M have been insisting we make cotton candy for awhile now, so last night I broke out the cotton candy machine. This was M’s very first time making cotton candy!

Shel got shorted on the pictures in the last couple posts.. So I figured I’d select a few more. Here she is entertaining the kids.. They love to get read to.

And here is one that is too cute to miss… Even though Shell gets shorted again! Sorry Shel. I suppose this is a good time to mention Her log of the trip It’s really good and includes pictures too. A must read.

M was so happy, she jumped REALLY HIGH!

WOoHOo! We have visitors from the Great White North!

Ua and Shel have graced us with their presence (As well as presents..:0 Christmas presents! The kids had Christmas all over again!)

Their Cousins R,M,and H are VERY happy to see them.. I don’t think they will get any peace while they are here…

Well, back to visiting!

H was the first in her class to take a voluntary accelerated reader test. (reading comprehension test) She did very well, only getting one question wrong.

Actually, I’m just as impressed that she decided to be the first in her class to volunteer to take it! After she took it, another girl in the class told the teacher “I want to take it too”.

I have cropped and edited most pictures I post here.. so I figured I would upload one with all the mess of real life in it… (H was dancing) Normally, I would have cropped out all of the “not dancing” part of the picture….

I was going through one of the girls coloring books, and found something interesting… (I might be showing how square I am… This might be common knowledge)

I don’t know if yall read the Zippy the Pinhead cartoon on a regular basis, but if you do, you know he likes visiting roadside attractions.

So, H and I figured we would visit a local roadside attraction…

Zippy visited this very place too! It feels special knowing that we stood in the very same location that Zippy did!

Today was a very nice day mid 70’s and sunny 🙂 (sorry, just had to brag…) Here are the girls at the start of a race. H can get going pretty fast on that trike…

This afternoon we visited a friends farm. The girls chased the chickens around the yard… (Click on the picture for a movie (~700k))

We had a fun new years eve. After going to dinner without the kids, we went home and popped poppers and threw confetti

Its amazing how long some scrap pieces of paper can entertain children…

Of course, they were all out like a light before midnight…
