On Saturday, we visited the river, and had a nice stroll on the promenade.
This nice picture was taken at one of our favorite places in Augusta, known as The-park-with-no-fence.

“I love my Daddy, just the way he is..”
Here are the girls, in their ritual of forcing the latest visitor to read to them.
We went to Bobbies BBQ tonight.. Pretty good southern barBQ. And the kids like the “rides”…
And, of course, they have to get clean sometime!

I like reading other family members blogs.. It makes me feel like being there. Shel’s is always updated, and she like to link to stuff which is nice, Verna’s is always interesting, Ua’s should be called “those days” rather than “these days” 😛
And Kelli Elser’s hasn’t been updated since she had a baby.. hmmm. I wonder why?
….ROTFLMBO
I guess I shouldn’t talk though, I have fallen behind this week.
Silly picture of M and R.
M with me while picking up manure for garden. She watch while I shoveled …..
Big sister Rebecca and little brother Chris. The special thing about this picture is it is the very last picture that Nanny Granny (Anna Plana) took in her camera. That is her Shadow.
Who is this cute little boy? Why, It’s Albert Ernst Elser, of course. This my well be the only picture of my dad as a toddler. I’d like to know if there are any more.
Here is a interesting picture.. Ant’s, coming to visit Jesus in the manger… The minds of children are creative if nothing.

Last night K took H and H’s friend Sara to see “STOMP” the percussion stage show. They said they really had a great time! Although you couldn’t tell from H’s face..
Tonight, I took the girls to the Mexican candy store (“Dulceria”) I found yesterday.. They picked out various candies..”Dulce”, and paid for it at the register. It was pretty entertaining.. Some they would put in their mouth and say “mmmm good”, and others they spit out.. Yuck!. As it turns out Mexican candy can be strange.. They have a fascination with spicy candy.. Like, candy dipped in chile powder spicy… I guess its an acquired taste.
M was being silly in the bathtub. So, It’s my duty to take a picture of it.
So, I’m sitting at lunch, reading the paper, and I come across this article with MY name in it..Yikes! It is something I have been doing on the side.. Quite slowly, but somewhat consistently.. For a while now. (You can see what I have been doing at the snocap website) Anyway, the evidentially the owner was interviewed by the newspaper, and made a somewhat private project not so private anymore.. I guess I don’t mind.

K and my sister Steph have commented, saying there is some context missing on H’s “love, world, round” picture… It really was a card she made for here mom, and the front of the card said “love makes the world go around”.
Sorry for the omission.

For the last couple months, H has been recycling paper. For some reason, television stations go through a lot of paper… So I take it and bring H to the paper recycling facility about every other week. I think we have done it 6 times now.
She unloads it, and then she goes to the window and collects her reward.. She will typically make about $5 each trip. Not worth all the work, IMHO.
But it is a nice ride with just us two and we get to get into a different part of town, one that we normally wouldn’t have a reason to go to. There is something special about the trip. One added bonus is that twice now, someone has dumped off a bunch of books in the recycle pile.. We have had a ball going through them. One time it was all children’s books! They let us take any that we wanted. (I sold a ducati service manual I pulled from the pile for $23 on eBay.. I love getting money for garbage on eBay)
Anyway, its a good thing to recycle, and even better to do something honorable with your children, so I guess we will keep it up!
Did you notice the picture in the cell phone window? It’s a candy store! Wow, it brought back memories. Its not too far way from us. (about a 1.5 miles) I wish them the best of business.
