This poor guy was hanging on to the hood for dear life as I was driving the other day… I hope he made it home safe.

Its nice and warm lately.. Time to go to the fountain! The one downtown Augusta was not operational today, so we had to go slumming into the suburbs..

Melinda.. She wanted nothing to do with the fountain for the first couple minutes. Then I couldn’t get her out.

This fountain was strange… It has a sign next to it that says “this fountain is controlled by the wind” ..Huh? And then it happened. A breeze came by, and the fountain stopped. The kids loved the suspense of when it was going to start up again. And, amazingly enough, it was not “on/off” it was linear… The more wind, the lower it would get.

Chris accused me of doctoring the fire photo from David’s bachelor party. Probably because he got in trouble for it somehow.
Well, he was at it again at moms party! But this time he took it just a bit too far, deciding to actually sit down. Chris, you can move to South Carolina if you like it hot!

On the way Back I saw Nicholas Cage at the airport in New Jersey

Melinda graduated from Pre-K today… Along with a party in the park… But I’ll have to post those pics later.

All this week we went to breakfast at School. It was “free”.. That’s to say it was on the house (taxpayer? Whatever), because they wanted the kids to have a good meal before standardized testing. They really worry about those scores.

Last weekend we went to North Carolina to visit Kathi’s brother Bobby and his Wife Robyn. I’m quite disappointed in myself.. I did not take any pictures of them or any/al of us.. grrr. Next time we see them they will have a baby Boy. Here we are with NC in the rear view mirror.

On the NC/SC boarder on I95 there is a place called “south of the border”.. Anyone that travels even occationally down 95 (The main corridor from new England to Florida) KNOWS where this place is… These are a couple of literally a hundred or so signs within 100 miles of the place.

We had a barnyard review this week at Church… Melinda and Rockwell were a couple of Old MacDonalds animals…

It took a while, but I finally fixed the kids record player.. Its been busted a number of times.. I guess that is what happens to it when you let them play with it.
Anyway, M wanted to dance to a record.. But Rockwell was not making it easy.

We received a nice large hammock from Dale. Melinda found a fine way to use it. Sometimes she cracks me up.

I am to announce the official request for applications for people that want to spend a week at the ocean this summer. I don’t have dates, and I forget the amount.. I will post that next… Think about it.. Its a fun time! Especially for the kids. Might be Hilton head, might be paulies island, might be Savannah.. I don’t think it has been determined. Salt water within walking distance is the current requirement..
