Kathi had a party for Rockwell at the river (In the Pavilion)
We had fun riding bikes into the river. I tried it, and Rockwell tried it. 
I think one other friend of Rockwell’s tried it. I was surprised all the others did not want to though.
We had fun all the same. Actually, it was a little too boisterous.. One boy fell out of a tree and broke his leg, and we had a storm roll though that blew everything around like crazy.

Melinda and Rockwell and I took a bike ride at the canal single track. I’ve ridden with a lot of folks, both of them ride better and more competently than they realize.

Our friend decided to invite a bunch of friends to do a loop endurance race.
Its where you get a allotted time to finish a loop, then each time the loop starts again, you get less time. The last person to finish the loop in time is the winner!
WAY harder than it seems, and requires a tad bit of strategy too. Rockwell did well, I think he did 7 of the 1..5 mile loops, I think I did 9? and I believe Larry did 11 or 12. out of 30 something racers, Larry came in third I believe!
Nick joined us for a few fast laps at the beginning, but had to go do something. I think his fast laps messed me up because I ran a few laps with him. 🙂
