The week before last, I went to the NAB convention in Las Vegas. Sadly, I didn’t know my sister was there. (frown) The notable event of the trip was the CNN concert.. REO Speedwagon played at a club in cesars palace. Fun…
Before I left for Dave’s bachelor party, I went to “dads day” at M’s school. It was fun playing games with the little ones!
Here is mom, being silly as usual.
And Dad.. “Hey, they let me smoke and give me three squares”
but smoking is going to kill you-
“Yah, and its taking its sweet time…”
He might not want it, but I hope the physical therapy does him some good. He is still all there, just too weak to move about too much. I think the other people in the home will do him some good to be around.
There was a name for this group of superheroes, but I forget it.. it was not “justice league”, that’s for sure. 🙂
Ah, the start of the bachelor party, the innocence…
I want to say it was 10 boxes of skeet and over a thousand rounds of shells.. Yaahhhoo!
Officially, the coolest car on the planet.
The man of the hour. About 700 milliseconds from falling on his head from 10 feet.
I’m glad we have our elders to teach us by example! Yaahhh! Hoooho.
Nice memories. Except what’s with the snow in April???
Oh, this is going to hurt tomorrow….
The inhumanity… Being used as an ottoman. We all had a really good time. Honest. I feel I could have done a better job of protecting David and Luke from Jose Quervo.. But, alas, he got the best of them. They sacrificed themselves to save the girls… (the girls were on their way over to pick up the bottle of tequila)

The “Tour De Georgia” Starts in Augusta this weekend. As it turns out, Lance Armstrong and his team is staying at the bed and breakfast across the street from us. Cool, huh? This week he will be yards away from us, and next month he will be yards away from K’s sister Teri in Switzerland (French border) sorta’ neat single degree of separation.

We meant to go to the Circus this last weekend. We had “free” tickets for the kids, and on the tickets, it said “value, $8.75 general admission”.
So off we went, assuming that General admission was $8.75… We got to the gate, 3 kids in tow, and the cashier said it was $24.00 each for adults!! We turned around and left, 2 crying kids in tow. (R didn’t know better)
So, in place we went to “funsville”, and spent our 20 bucks we had meant for the Circus. Whoa, check out that plane that’s about to crash!!
Here is one of us on the wild worm ( I think).. If you look closely, that plane still has not crashed…
H had a ball on the Water bumper cars.
Then, yesterday, I got some tickets for “Champions on Ice”. The kids seemed to like it, it was a bit dull to me. This is a picture of Christy Yamaguchi.. You will have to trust me on that one.
R seems to be having a time…
The Swiss world Champion Stephan Laviar (That’s phonetic spelling Teri..) Was in the group, but your going to have to trust me on that one too.
I’ve got all the wall up on the garage… Guess I’ll have to provide a picture!

Went for a walk to get ice cream today. How many other little towns in the south have anime posters on the street lights? It can’t be too many…
When we got there, R was ready to dig in.
K asked me how I got them to take their attention off the icecream… It was a fluke. I just called to H, and they all looked over.
K wanted to make sure that everyone realized that picture of her dad was taken around 1960, not 1943… I have another, more modern picture… I gotta guess this picture was taken circa 1979? He still has this bike. Its been through a half dozen remodels since then, and a whole lot of miles. He just got back from riding it to Daytona Beach, getting passed by a bunch of bikes.. On trailers… Going to the same place…
(OK, that last statement is an assumtion, but I know its true from experience)

Here is something that all the males that view this blog need to download right now. How did I get along without this information for so long?? 🙂
Click here to download “How fold a shirt” It is large at 2 meg, but well worth it.

We are sad to announce that our beloved Sheba has passed. She was loved by many, and gave us years of security and companionship. She was special to us, and we will never be able to replace her. K had her when we met, and she has been part of everything we have ever done as a family.
Rest In Peace Sheiba.
We will always remember you.
