The weather has been a bit warm. The kids went playing in the sprinkler today.. Fly, H, Fly!

R will take sugar any way it comes delivered… This time it was a strawberry.. mmm.

Dale went and helped me pick up the 50 ford today.. (not literally silly!) It has been in Columbia for the last 3 years in the shop. It was indoors the whole time, and has not aged a bit! I Drove it the 70 miles home (with Dale following me in his 250$ Toyota van that he wants to test a bit before he drives it to Chicago.. I was happy to oblige 🙂 )

As you might have noticed, the Forum is messed up. Don’t bother posting until I get the database fixed… It will probably be reset a half dozen times before that happens.. Sorry.

Last night was the NA fireworks extravaganza. Little did we know It was going to be in our front yard. Too cool! (click picture for a video)

I really need to be careful what I promise, ehe?. H wanted to help paint the living room.. I said “pull that tooth out and I’ll let you paint” because her front tooth is loose… Well, she went about trying to get it out.. Even going so far as trying to pry it out.. yikes!! I didn’t mean for you to try that hard H!

Easter Egg hunt at the Shealy Plantation today. The kids had their helmets on, ready for the battle. (note for next year.. bring bigger baskets for the plunder)

R wouldnt take just any Easter Egg.. It had to have something in it before it was worthy of his taking.

R is such a sugar hound.. I have never seen anything like it. Was I like that when I was a kid??

Afterword while we were cleaning up, H and M got to go swimming. H was really adventurous. She was trying to do flips.. Here is one of her first tries. (click for a Quicktime movie.. not too big)

Here is one of her last ones.. Man I heard that leg slap the water. It had to hurt. But she didn’t let anyone know it.

And we are off for the first Egg hunt of the Easter season. Does anyone have a story to connect collecting ester Eggs with Christ’s crucifixion? What’s up with that?

M made the newspaper! She was photographed entertaining herself while senator Ryberg gave his little dedication shpeil congratulating our little burg of North Augusta on it’s 100th anniversary in the background.

Here is our visitor Dale eating a fresh salad with lettuce and broccoli from the garden. Did you click on that video of R eating veggies straight from the garden? He helped plant them.. its no suprise he wants to eat them too, ehe? (smile)

Yesterday Dale came up from Belize to visit. We promptly cornered him into watching the kids while we went to the first concert in 8 years. It was the “Rock Fore! Dough.” (crappy flash website with no alternative non flash site) Concert to raise money for a golf club for disadvantaged youth. Better than Ezra was playing when I took this photo. Don’t let the picture fool you. There were a lot of people there. We ended up in the snooty VIP section. Free booze and finger food.. I guess I shouldn’t complain. But being around those people just gives me the creeps. We left after collective soul played. We never saw Hootie and the blowfish.

No April fools on you this year.
